We’re a family who loves books, board games and learning about how the world works.

MoneyBees began when playing shops and running cookie stalls led one of our kids to ask bigger questions about business, choices and risk. We couldn’t find a game that explored these ideas in a way that felt both fun and true to life, so we started making our own.

Jess, a finance professional, brings real-world money and business ideas into the game and stories. Steve, a robotics engineer, tests, tweaks and simulates the game (many, many times). With the help of our children, playtesting families and teachers, and the creativity of talented writers and designers, we were able to bring the Beeconomy to life.
